When to use it

Use it for quick, informal coaching feedback straight after someone has done something.

How to apply it
  1. Ask how they think it went and what they would change.
  2. Tell them what you observed, building on their self-assessment.
  3. Keep your 'tell' to one or two specific points.
  4. Ask what they will do differently next time.
  5. Confirm the next step and when you will check in.
Tip: Starting with their view shows you where they already agree, so you can skip what they have spotted themselves.
