When to use it

Use it to align a team or organisation on a small number of priorities for a quarter or similar cycle.

How to apply it
  1. Write a short, directional Objective describing what you want to achieve.
  2. Add two to five Key Results that are measurable outcomes, not tasks.
  3. Check that achieving all Key Results would genuinely deliver the Objective.
  4. Share OKRs openly so teams can align their own to them.
  5. Review progress regularly and score each Key Result at the end of the cycle.
Tip: Key Results that read like a to-do list are a warning sign; measure outcomes, not activity.
