When to use it

Use it when your online profiles, CV and introductions feel inconsistent or generic.

How to apply it
  1. List three things colleagues regularly come to you for.
  2. Identify the audience who most benefits from those strengths.
  3. Draft a statement in the form: I help [audience] achieve [outcome] by [how].
  4. Test it with two colleagues and ask whether it sounds like you.
  5. Update your LinkedIn headline, CV summary and bio to match it.
Tip: Avoid vague adjectives such as 'passionate' or 'results-driven'; name specific outcomes instead.
