When to use it

Use it before networking events, introductions to senior leaders, or interviews.

How to apply it
  1. Write one sentence on what you do and the problem you solve.
  2. Add one specific example or result that proves it.
  3. Add one sentence on what you are looking for or interested in next.
  4. Cut it until it can be said aloud in 30 seconds.
  5. Practise it out loud until it sounds natural rather than recited.
  6. Prepare a shorter variant for different audiences, such as peers versus executives.
Tip: End with something that invites a follow-up question rather than a closed statement.
