When to use it

Use it when stress is making you focus mainly on what is going wrong.

How to apply it
  1. Set aside a few minutes at the end of each day.
  2. Write down three things that went well.
  3. For each, write why it went well.
  4. Keep the entries specific and brief.
  5. Continue for at least a week before judging its effect.
Tip: Small events count; the habit of noticing matters more than the size of the event.
