When to use it

Use it when you keep postponing one significant task in favour of easier work.

How to apply it
  1. Identify the single task you are most likely to put off that would make the biggest difference.
  2. Decide the evening before that it will be your first task tomorrow.
  3. Prepare everything you need to start it so there is no setup friction.
  4. Start on it before checking email or messages.
  5. Work on it until it is finished or you reach a defined milestone.
Tip: If the frog is too big for one morning, define a concrete first chunk rather than the whole project.
