A hierarchy of learning levels: remember, understand, apply, analyse, evaluate and create (revised version). It helps you check how deeply you know something.
When to use it
Use it to set learning goals or to check whether you can actually use a skill, not just recall it.
How to apply it
Choose the topic or skill you are learning.
Decide which level you need to reach for your role.
Write one task for that level, such as 'apply this to a live project'.
Complete the task and judge honestly whether you succeeded.
Move up one level once you can perform reliably at the current one.
Tip: Most workplace skills need at least the 'apply' level; recall alone is rarely enough.
